Multi Trade Group attended Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, where we met packaging manufacturers to discuss Luminy® PLA and the role of bio-based materials in packaging.

What did we discuss at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026?

The event took place from 3 to 5 November 2026. We attended alongside Bert Clymans, who is responsible for our region at TotalEnergies Corbion. Through our partnership with TotalEnergies Corbion, Multi Trade Group distributes Luminy® PLA and supports manufacturers exploring more sustainable packaging options.

We spoke with manufacturers already using PLA and with others considering it for the first time. Those conversations showed a growing interest in bio-based materials across the packaging industry.
